Expected Behavior

We encourage everyone to:

• Treat others with kindness and respect.
• Support fellow participants.
• Follow event rules and volunteer instructions.
• Respect trails, parks, wildlife, and surrounding communities.
• Practice Leave No Trace principles.
• Celebrate effort as much as achievement.
• Help create a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, identities, ages, and experience levels.

   

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not welcome within the Side Quest Adventures community:

• Harassment or discrimination of any kind
• Threatening or abusive behavior
• Bullying or intimidation
• Hate speech
• Deliberate damage to property or the environment
• Unsafe behavior that endangers participants, volunteers, or the public
• Disrupting events or interfering with volunteers performing their duties

   

Enforcement

Side Quest Adventures reserves the right to remove any participant, volunteer, spectator, or community member whose behavior negatively impacts the safety, experience, or well-being of others.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

• A verbal warning
• Removal from an event
• Disqualification
• Removal from online community spaces
• Denial of future event participation

   

Leave No Trace

The trails and public lands we use are a privilege.

Please help us protect them by:

• Packing out what you bring in
• Staying on designated trails
• Respecting wildlife
• Leaving natural areas better than you found them
